Preparations of this type may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some cases, so a preliminary test should always be carried out. Wash and dry a small area behind the ear with soap and water, mix a small quantity of the powder with one or two drops of water, apply it to the cleansed area and allow it to dry. After 24 hours wash the patch with soap and water. The product may be used if no reddening, burning, itching or swelling is seen in or around the test area.
This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation in certain cases. It must not be used for colouring eyelashes or eyebrows — such use may cause blindness. Poison: for external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
