Preparations of this type may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some cases, so a preliminary test should always be carried out. Cleanse a small area of skin behind the ear or on the inner forearm with soap and water, apply a small quantity of the paste as prepared for use, and allow it to dry. After 24 hours wash the area gently with soap and water. If no irritation or inflammation is apparent, no hypersensitivity may be assumed. The test should be carried out before each and every application.
This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation in certain cases. It must not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows — such use may cause blindness. Poison: for external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
